Kaizenly does not collect personally identifiable information. Your habit data (habits, entries, streaks, notes) is stored only on your device. We collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics and crash diagnostics to improve the app — never your habit names, notes, or recorded values.
All data (habits, entries, streaks) is stored on-device using an SQLite database. We do not have access to this data.
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, and your privacy stays protected. Analytics only collects anonymous, aggregate signals (such as which features are used, habit type, and app version) plus a pseudonymous app-instance identifier — never your identity, personal data, or the content of your habits (names, notes, or values). Crashlytics collects crash logs and device diagnostics solely to help us fix bugs. All of it is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, processed by Google strictly on our behalf, and is never sold, rented, or used for advertising. You can turn analytics off any time from Settings, under “About & more”, via the “Share anonymous data” toggle.
If you connect Google Drive, your data stays private and under your control. Kaizenly requests only the app-data scope (drive.appdata) — a private, hidden folder inside your own Google Drive that no other app, and not even we, can access. Your backup (which contains your habit data) lives only in your own Google Drive account, is transferred over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and is never sent to us or any third party. We never access, read, or modify any other files in your Drive. You can disconnect any time in Settings, revoke access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete your backups whenever you like.
When you rate the app, this interaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store any review data.
Kaizenly uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand aggregate usage and diagnose crashes, and Google Drive (optional, only if you connect it) to back up your data to your own account. See Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not integrate any advertising or data-broker services.
This app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy in future app versions. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Kaizenly grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on your device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You are solely responsible for your habit data. All data is stored locally on your device; if your device is lost or reset, we cannot recover it. If you enable Google Drive backup, your backups are stored in your own Google Drive account and remain under your control — you can restore or delete them at any time.
You may not: reverse engineer the app, use it for unlawful purposes, or redistribute it without permission.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
